This is the part of a new series I am working on called "Women of the Americas"  Support, in part, for this series is from a grant I recieved from the Illinois Northwest Art Alliance.  So far I have completed a total of 5 oil paintings and I am working on the 4th.  This is for a one person show at Spring Street Gallery in Galena IL this fall.  Please keep checking my web site for the new paintings.
